Massanutten Resort is located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley.
With a wide range of trails covering 70 skiable acres and a vertical drop of 1,100 feet, this four-season mountain resort offers lots of variety for every level of skier.
Massanutten welcomes snowboard skiers. A snowboard park, served by a J-bar lift, features bumps and a quarter-pipe. Rentals and lessons are available.
To make skiing more convenient, all slopes are lighted for night skiing.
This is a family-oriented resort offering ski school for children ages 4 to 12. The program is uses the latest teaching methods to ensure your children receive an enjoyable start in this lifetime sport.
Adaptive Skiing
Massanutten Adaptive Ski School (M.A.S.S.) is a nonprofit educational organization dedicated to promoting alpine skiing instruction to help individuals of all ages overcome a variety of challenges. Instructors and volunteers follow the PSIA Adaptive Teaching Model and other progressions as defined by National Handicapped Sports.
To get to Massanutten from the north and south, take I-81 to Exit 247A. Follow U.S. 33 east about 11 miles to the entrance on the left. From points east and west, take I-64 to I-81 and follow the directions above.
